Not only did I go fly in a really old airplane, I liked it - probably had more to do with the Christmas lights we got to see than the plane...
For those of you curious (I know I wasn't) it was a B-47, the Southern Cross to be specific (direct any further questions to Brian). After the plane ride I patiently waited for an hour and a half while Brian walked around the Vintage Flying museum with one of the workers because they had to talk about, tour, and go inside almost every single airplane. As you can see from below, 90% of the planes weren't in flying condition but Brian was in hogs heaven! One of the other airplane enthusiasts commented that it was nice of his girlfriend to stick around in the cold so long. I'm his wife buddy, it takes diamonds to stand in the cold this long! Now I know what Christmas present I have to live up to every year!
