Shower Time!
Is this not the cutest darn cake you've ever seen? More airplanes for our family shower, Brian was in hog heaven, even if the planes were made out of fondant.

Can we all look that good as soon-to-be grandparents? Stay young MiMi and Grumpy!

Brian's family (not big smilers as you can tell), whatcha got in your right hand Nanny? Could it be a faint memory of my waist?

Lovely church group ladies!

I hope Chase inherits Brian's skin cause he's got lots of pale people in his gene pool!

We have a whole stash of these to provide us some humor in the early morning hours, these were some of my favorites :)

Almost there!!!
So there was NOTHING to blog about for a couple weeks but I'll make up for it in the next week...Here we are cruising along at 35 weeks. Except we're not cruising, Chase is having his own little party in there and I'm counting the days. Went to my doctor last week and said "HELP ME! I swear if I throw up one more time..." and she agreed with me and Chase's arrive no later than date is a week early :) Mark it on your calenders folks, August the 17th he will either be here or I will be dead, hopefully not the later. Not gonna lie, when she pulled out the calender and gave me a date I wanted to say "you know, never mind, he can stay in there for forever...I changed my mind." Minor freakout ensued on the way home. So Brian and I finally sat down and talked about the birth plan. Here's what we have:
1. I will not say no to drugs (even if they offer me a red ribbon)
2. I will not say no to a C-section or any other medical advances
3. Brian cannot leave me. at all. for any reason. pee in a cup. I will need you.
4. Brian cannot eat in front of me. this will be as miserable for you as it is for me.
On a happy note we can't wait for him to be here :)

Push Present
Brian thinks I'm joking. When I first mentioned it I told him "It's not like I'm asking for Tiffany's, I'm just asking for Brighton," he actually laughed out loud.
Really it should be called a "hey way to hang in there for nine months and putting up with throwing up every other day, heartburn, hemorrhoids, swelling, weird hair growth, back pain, leaky boobs, getting fat, carrying around my offspring that likes to beat the shiznit out of your insides, etc." (Now I have not had to put up with all those things but ladies back me up on this...)
So I wasn't sure of exactly what I wanted till I found these babies....

Pair of custom made vintage heels in silk. When I told Brian I wanted them he said something about "saving" money and being "responsible" with a baby on the way. Well let me tell you buddy if you were "responsible" with your boys we wouldn't be in this situation now would we?
Don't you wish you could say things like that outloud?
I will keep you updated on the status of the push present aka battle of the wills.
