Meet "The Little Yellow House"

I have no idea where the last month went but we are now settling in in Enid, America!  No really that's what they call themselves.  But before we arrived here we had to say bye to our OKC house, including Chase's nursery.

Chase wasn't too upset because this was in his backyard for 3 weeks.  Now he can say "dada fly airplanes!"

Before he could get over the hundreds of planes flying around we found the trains!  We ride this little guy about once a week.

Then after the little train we found the big trains, one you can see really well from the baseball park.  During this picture both Brian and Chase were frantically looking back and forth between train and baseball deciding which was cooler.  I was eating a hot dog.

Seriously how cute is this baseball park?  And the boys in front of it?

I had to put these random pictures in because they are so fun, everything becomes entertainment after 3 weeks in the base hotel.

While at TLF Chase and Brian started Chase's swimming lessons and they had so much fun the first day!

So many smiles and giggles, but of course when the rest of the week was with mom Chase was not so excited and the only picture we have of him with me is me in the freezing water and Chase sitting on the side.

Brian also started class while we were still in the hotel.  I wanted to take a second day of school picture when he came home with his 4 foot tall stack of materials but Brian couldn't hold them all in one picture.

Then shortly after something amazing happened....the little yellow house.

Now is the time to take a break in the story for another story.  Ever since we got to Enid we have seen how faithful God has been in preparing us a place here.  I was concerned about meeting other spouses and families with babies, and finding other believers in a place where I have heard some major horror stories.
God is good.
The first guy we met in Brian's class has been trying churches out with us for weeks.  The first spouse I met is Mormon (as a good friend said, may not believe the same thing but they make amazing friends!) and has a baby.  And it just kept getting better from there.
Now while base housing or renting did not work out for us, when we drove by this house the first time I yelled at Brian to stop, but he didn't listen.  The second time we drove by this house he pulled into the drive and said we would be buying this house.  And we did.
We did look at other houses but both of us were drawn to this house, at first I could not fathom why Brian loved the little yellow house as much as I did but I figured it out soon enough.  The house is on final approach for T-6's, T-1's, and T-38's.  Side note- I am super excited to have a tree!

My parents came up the weekend we moved in and we crammed in lots of fun, boxes, and rodeo in the short time they were here.

Thank the Lord for my dad and his handy-man skills, the house just might be falling in on our heads if it weren't for him the first weekend.  Chase was his little apprentice all weekend.  I have to brag on Brian too for picking up the tab for all the projects (He'll get mad if I don't say he's accomplished his own fair share of projects, too)

Being a helper is hard work but Ranger and Chase found their favorite spot to nap by the end of the second day.  More house pictures later......

Here are the awesome spouses (not wives) of class 13-11, lots of babies included!  Two babes including Chase aren't in the picture, but I'll throw in one of my favorite pictures of Chase next.

I should figure out how to photoshop out dinner on the shirt but I wouldn't trade that smile for a million dollars.

Here's Brian at the altitude chamber, he asked if I would post those pictures but the rest are boring.  Notice the super cool helmet and tan wife.

I have no idea where the last month went but after I have more boxes unpacked I'll put up more pictures of the house.  We miss our AWACS family already but are surprised how quickly we found our UPT family!
