Martin Family Christmas Extravaganza and Eatathon

It's even more wonderful than it sounds!! Granny's is a place where the presents outnumber the people and everyone is a kid at heart. Day progresses from feasting, a present explosion in the playroom, treasure hunt throughout the house, and ends with shopping at Northpark. Throw in some name calling, sarcasm, and quick witted responses and you have my family! While not a one of us is normal, we all love each other and I look forward to every time we get together.

Uncle Karl and Uncle Andy hard at work on treasure clues, don't piss them off or you could end up like Christi with 12 clues.

This wild creature is known as a "Hunter," if you're lucky you can catch this elusive teenager in between sleeping and talking on the phone. This picture catches him doing "work," previously unknown to the Hunter creature.

This is our Lily baby, youngest in the family until Brian and I make the plunge. Lily don't worry, you've still got a few years to enjoy your baby status. At one point we thought we lost Lily under the presents.

My gorgeous Juicy Couture wearing cousin, yes be jealous because she has brains too.

Our Christmas cousin Merry, one day I will shave those curly-que's off her head and transplant them onto mine.

My sweetheart Mia, she's got a heart of gold. Sadly the pictures end here, my camera got lost and wasn't found until much later. Now onto our little Christmas at home...

My favorite ornament on my western tree!

All our stockings!

This is how Brian opens his Christmas presents....

Brian playing with his Christmas presents...

Score! Nice surprise Brian, now its time for these Cowboys to stop losing and win a freaking game!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Yes I get very excited about Christmas. I bought our advent calenders September 30th and had 80% of my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. The Grinch is my favorite Christmas movie (old one, hate the Jim Carry one) and I love all Christmas songs. I love Christmas.
