Week 1

Every year at Christmas my mom, brother, and I would spend hours in the kitchen with cookie cutters, flour every where, bowls of every color icing and decorate till we'd drop. Of course Hunter was there just for the M&M's and sugar cookies. I thought it was something everyone did so I didn't think much of it but my mom taught me so much those late nights. Well the past few years its grown to Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving plus I started making more and more cakes so put them together...



My first cake from class! If you would like a piece please let me know because I can not possibly eat a whole cake a week and after you spend that much time on it you loose the desire to destroy it...I think I'm most excited about learning how to crumb coat a cake. Not sure if any of you watch any cake shows but they make it look so easy and beautiful and of course its not. If you need a good laugh check out this blog, it makes me feel better about my life and gives me a good ab workout from laughing.
