The Zoo!

I've been bad about starting blogs and not finishing them. Not that this one is exciting at all, but I am going to finish it now because I should be studying for an Adolescent Guidance Test right now.

We went to the Zoo! He stayed content in the stroller for about five minutes.


For those of you who have never seen an advark, here you go. I thought he was the goofiest! looking thing I'd ever seen. He was so big and had such a little bitty head, no wonder he eats ants he couldn't swallow anything else!
Brian and Chase braved the reptile and bug house, this is as close as Mama got to any slimies or creepy crawlies. The lizard bench.
Chase loved the baby elephant statue more the real elephants.

But elephants are pretty awesome. I wonder if the new guy has to scoop their poop.

Chase loved the sea otters becuase they were eye level.

He also loved the gorilla even though this is about all we got to see. No amount of banging or yelling got this guy to move an inch (not by us of course, by the teenage boy idiot). You ever go to the zoo and think an animal is dead? This was one of those times...

We walk over to the giraffe and right away he comes walking over to us and lowers his head like he was going to visit us. Awesome! Until the food van pulled up next to us. Here you can see Chase pointing out an airplane. We have lots of pictures like this.
