Well I'll Be ......

We walk in to have the ultrasound and the lady asks Brian what he does, he replies I fly on the AWACS. She laughs and says in the 30 years I've been doing this every AWACS baby has been a girl! I smile and nod and Brian looks like he could get up and leave right then. So we begin...
Two words I never thought I'd hear - flagpole.

Yes that's right after all this time I spent flappin my gums about how this baby was going to be a girl and all the rumors about AWACS babies and midwives tales and conception date theories - Brian is getting his boy and I am now outnumbered 1:3.



He is definitely a mover and a shaker and a kicker and the poor kid has Brian's feet already. Everything looked good and healthy and normal and we are super excited. As excited as I was about a girl, I'm super excited about this baby boy and I'm even more excited for Brian. He walked a little taller coming out of that room...

    LOVE that top ultrasound picture. Oh my goodness. Hilarious. Congrats on the boy. And buckle up. If you think he's active now, just wait til he learns to walk!

    OH my! There is no question about what this baby will be, is there? HAHA. When I found out I was pregnant with Chase, I felt weird about having a boy growing inside of my body. I would trade HAllie for anything, but boys are so SO much fun. You're going to love it.
